The bonus story connecting the base game to the expansion is what sold me, and it actually ties the two together nicely instead of feeling tacked on. Playing through the mini-campaign solo took me a couple evenings and the new scenarios stayed fresh the whole way.

I finished the whole mini-campaign in two evenings and the story that links the base game to the expansion genuinely surprised me. The new scenarios ramp up nicely without feeling unfair, and the bonus story cards are a nice touch for anyone who cares about the lore.

The story bridging the base game to the Pub Crawlers expansion actually made me care about the characters I'd been flipping over for months. It's a short campaign, maybe five or six sessions, but the new scenarios fit neatly into an evening.
